What is OEE
Overall Equipment Effectiveness: availability × performance × quality. World class ≈ 85%.
ReadDowntime and downtime reasons
Time when the machine is not producing when it should be. No reason, no improvement.
ReadMTBF — mean time between failures
Average run time between two breakdowns. Higher = a more reliable machine.
ReadMTTR — mean time to repair
Average time from breakdown to running again. Lower = faster response and repair.
ReadSQDCP — the daily meeting board
Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People — five indicators for a daily stand-up at the board.
ReadAndon — a call for help from the line
A call for help from the line — to the right team, with escalation if nobody responds.
ReadPlanned maintenance and OEE
Planned maintenance is outside OEE; overrunning the plan is a loss.
